About the book

  • What parts of the book are personalized?

    Your child’s name will be featured prominently on the cover as an illustrator credit, along with one of their uploaded pieces of art, in full color! Inside the book, there is a personalized dedication from you to your child. Then, written directly into the story, each art piece uploaded is featured on its own page, with a customized story segment describing it. We don’t just insert your child’s name into blank slots in the story; we actually write the story to match your child’s creative work, celebrating their personality and talents. It doesn’t get any more personalized than this!

  • Can I add a photo of my child?

    Of course, but note that the story is written to feature your child’s art, so for the best results we suggested uploading photos of drawings, crafts, sculptures, paintings, sidewalk chalk drawings, or any amazing thing that your child has created.

  • How many pictures can I add?

    Each book features 10 pieces of art from your child.

  • Can i see a preview of my book?

    While we understand the need to see a preview, because our human writers custom-write each book, we aren’t able to show an automatic preview. But hang in there, you’ll be happy we add that personalized touch, we promise!

  • What age group is this book for?

    We recommend our books for ages 2-6.

  • Are there more books coming soon?

    Yes! Please be sure to sign up for our mailing list, and we’ll be sure to let you know when we have more titles! Looking for a particular theme or have a great idea for a subject? Let us know!

Uploading a Photo

  • How do I upload a photo?

    Just take a photo using your phone camera, making sure the lighting is bright and the pictures come out clearly. Make sure that the orientation of the picture is correct, and that the art piece fills the frame. Or, if you prefer to scan the artwork, please scan them as JPG or PNG (sorry, no PDF!).

  • What file formats do you accept?

    Please upload your pictures in JPG/JPEG or PNG formats (sorry, no PDF!).

  • What is the maximum photo file size?

    Please make sure that each of your images is 10MB or less.

  • What happens to my photos after they’re uploaded?

    They are reviewed by our highly skilled editorial staff and captioned with positive, joyful and happy words. They are then placed at the center of the story and published along with each uploaded piece of art.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal.

  • When will my credit card be charged?

    Your credit card will be charged when your order is received.

  • How do I know my order is secure?

    We work with PayPal, which has industry-standard encryption technology to make sure your credit card information stays protected.

  • How will I know my order is received?

    As soon as you place an order, we will send you a confirmation email with the details of your order.

  • Do you charge sales tax?

    We charge sales tax only in the state of Maryland (MD).

    Even though each and every book is custom-handled by a writer on our editorial staff, we will ship your book within just 7-10 business days.

    We primarily ship via United States Postal Service.

  • How much Does Shipping cost?

Cancellations and Returns

  • Can I cancel my order?

    If you email us at hello@piccuzoo.com immediately after you place an order, we will do our best to cancel your order and refund your money. However, we can make no guarantees because we process orders and get them prepared for shipment as fast as possible.

  • What if my item is damaged?

    Although we try to make our absolute best to deliver a high-quality product to you, sometimes things happen in transit; but don’t worry. If your item arrives damaged, just email us at hello@piccuzoo.com to let us know, and we will be happy to mail you a new item at no cost.

  • What if I don’t receive my order?

    Email us at hello@piccuzoo.com and we will immediately find a way to deliver it to you. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we’ll do whatever we can to make things right.

  • Can I return or exchange my item?

    Because Piccuzoo books are 100% personal and customized to each customer, we are unable to accept returns.
